|Beathe-Jeanette Lunde becomes Executive Vice President at Carlson Hotels Worldwide Americas|

Beathe-Jeanette (B-J) Lunde, Senior Vice President People Development and Radisson Blu Franchise Operations at Rezidor, joins Carlson Hotels Worldwide Americas and becomes Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources, Responsible Business, Safety & Security and Internal Communication. Based in Minneapolis she will report to Thorsten Kirschke, Chief Operating Officer Carlson Hotels Worldwide Americas.

B-J Lunde, who is Norwegian, joined Rezidor in 1986 in the pre-opening of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Stavanger. After a number of Department Head positions, she transferred to the Corporate Offic in Brussels in 1992 as number two in the Corporate Human Resources Department. The journey continued to London and later to Copenhagen where she held the post of General Manager for one of the four Radisson SAS Hotels in the City.
The role of Vice President Human Resources brought her back to Brussels in 1996. Shortly after, the well-known Business School @ Rezidor was established. B-J Lunde was head of Human Resources for six and a half years until she took a study break to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at Heriot Watt University, Scotland. In 2003, she took on the role of Vice President Franchise Services involved in the development of the new mid market brand Park Inn. In 2004 this role changed to include all franchise partners of the company. Since 2006 B-J Lunde was Senior Vice President People Development and Radisson Blu Franchise Operations. She also was a member of Rezidor’s Executive Committee.
